The device you receive will be locked on firmware 6.46 . You are welcome to try updating but don't be surprised if it fails. This may or may not be an issue for you. It depends on the phone you are using. I know it works with Google Pixels and most android phones. When in doubt, buy from one of my other listings. Those will be on firmware 6.60 or 6.64 which have not had any compatibility issues thus far. Also, I can replace the battery in your fitbit one. Why is Fitbit preventing us from updating? I don't know for sure. Maybe planned obsolescence 10/26/24 There is an issue that some of my customers have been having lately where the app is showing zero steps in their history. The device tracks steps/stairs correctly for the current day and the weekly total but when you look at the step count for the previous day, it shows a big fat ZERO! Frustrating to say the least! (ie 6.60 & 6.64) Anything older will not pair or sync correctly. Fitbits are listed everyday by sellers who are careless or clueless of the battery and firmware issues.
