Description

So this was a new unit when I received it however the fan didn't spin. I discovered the belt had come off, was designed out a tentioner. When I put the belt back on, it didn't have enough friction on the pulleys to turn the fan. The reason is there isn't a tensioner on the belt and so if any weight is put on the machine, it can force the bottom to bubble(bend) up towards the center and that would cause the belt to loosen further yet. I imagine this overlook is responsible for much of the breakdown of this design. I put in a new pulley on the motor that is a few mm larger. When doing soni also adjusted the pulley out a bit further as before it rubbed on the back side of the drum. Now it clears it just perfect making it even more quite and with out the belt slapping around. Basically, it's better than a new machine with a longer projected life in my opinion.
